Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect your mobile number (MSISDN) when you subscribe or log in, and the resulting subscription and transaction records (status, timestamps, and identifiers exchanged with MTN's billing platform). We do not collect passwords, card numbers, or bank details — none are required for this service.

2. How we use it

• To process your subscription request with MTN's Direct Carrier Billing platform
• To verify your subscription status when you log in
• To send you transactional messages related to your subscription (e.g. confirmation SMS)
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service

3. Who we share it with

Your mobile number and subscription request are shared with MTN Rwanda and its billing platform strictly to process your subscription. We do not sell your data or share it with unrelated third parties.

4. Data retention

Subscription and transaction records are retained for as long as needed for billing, support, and legal / regulatory purposes. Raw callback/request payloads are retained for a limited period and then redacted; structured records needed for reconciliation are kept longer.

5. Security

We never expose our billing platform credentials, tokens, or upstream integration details outside our servers. Your session is protected with a secure, HTTP-only cookie that cannot be read by JavaScript.

6. Your rights

You may request details of the data we hold about your number, or request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it, by contacting support.
